Approval process
- Draft the post content (caption + image selection)
- Submit for review via the content shared drive — folder: Social Media / Pending Review
- Content lead reviews within 24 hours on weekdays
- Once approved, post is scheduled via the social media management tool
- Do NOT post directly from personal devices or accounts
Content rules
Always required:
- Written consent for any guest photos — use the guest photo consent form (available at front desk)
- Location tagging only for the property, never for specific boutique numbers
- Hashtags from the approved list (see appendix)
Never include:
- Room pricing or promotional rates
- Guest names or personal details without explicit written consent
- Competitor mentions (positive or negative)
- Political or religious content
- Unverified claims about awards or rankings
Photo guidelines
- Only use photos taken by the official Meridian photographer or approved staff photographers
- Minimum resolution: 1080px wide for Instagram
- Avoid photos showing housekeeping or maintenance in progress
Crisis response
If a guest post tags Meridian negatively, do not respond publicly without approval from the content lead and duty manager. Screenshot and escalate immediately.
